Uninstall and reinstall the print driver. Update the printer firmware.

Check the network status. Let me know how it goes. Once I remove applications from the server using high memory the print processing started working properly. Check for any processes that do this. The other servers are running higher in RAM usage than I'd like. I'm working on re-commissioning a third server to distribute the load more evenly. Ultimate fix is getting a new VM host and amalgamating all the physical servers onto that, but that's a Herculean task for me right now as the sole IT person for the company. Understood, you can actually maybe use a VM to have the print server and offload that from any other systems so you can pinpoint the issue of the server load.

Thanks, S. Glad you found it working so well. I would assume that you can get into those advanced settings from the application even. If there is Help menu there are usually links to tips. The advanced button "should" be available from the System Prefs panel, duh.
